Lorena Sousa is a PhD candidate in Multimedia in Education at the University of Aveiro, and member of the DE-TEL Erasmus+ project where she has been working with the development of Open Educational Resources for doctoral education training as part of her PhD research. She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, and her dissertation was on the use of technology in second language learning. Her main research interests are related to Technology-Enhanced Learning, Open Educational Resources, online education, distance education, and gamification.
